Qualifications

• MD/DNB or equivalent radiology qualification.
• Strong radiology knowledge with CT/MRI/X-ray interpretation.
• Specialized Nuclear Medicine experience and radiation safety.
• Competency in Mammography reporting.
• Valid medical registration in India.
• Experience with imaging equipment and HIS is advantageous.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based at Apollo Hospitals in Bengaluru. The Radiologist will perform and interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and specialized imaging as required, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, selecting appropriate imaging protocols, ensuring radiation safety, and preparing clear, timely reports for referring clinicians. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary medical teams, participation in case discussions and clinical meetings, and providing guidance on imaging findings to support patient management. The Radiologist will also help maintain quality standards, support continuous improvement in imaging services, and may participate in teaching or training activities for junior staff and students.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge and clinical skills in Medicine, with the ability to integrate imaging findings into overall patient care.
• Candidates should possess advanced proficiency in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray interpretation.
• Candidates should possess specialized skills in Nuclear Medicine, with experience in diagnostic scans and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
• Candidates should possess competency in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging and reporting.
• Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a Radiologist in India.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, continuous learning, and use of evidence-based protocols.
• Experience with advanced imaging technologies and hospital information systems is an advantage.
