Job summary

OCS Group in Pune seeks a skilled HVAC maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on data center cooling systems, inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and ensure optimal performance of CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and AHUs.

You will work with vendors to coordinate maintenance, maintain logs and reports, and support shutdowns while upholding safety and environmental regulations. Proactive monitoring and RCA support are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, and FCUs.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in cooling systems.
• Monitor HVAC performance through BMS and identify potential issues proactively.
• Maintain temperature and humidity levels as per data center standards.
• Perform filter replacement, belt adjustments, lubrication, and equipment cleaning.
• Coordinate with OEMs and service vendors during maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, logs, and reports.
• Support emergency response and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
• Participate in shift operations and planned maintenance shutdowns.
