Halliburton in Navi Mumbai is seeking an entry-level technician to perform repairs, calibration and inspections on down-hole tools. You will support safe, efficient maintenance of equipment used in the Sperry Drilling Svcs line.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a technical school certificate or higher preferred; work will be on-site at MIDC Taloja, Navi Mumbai, India.

• Ensures duties are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Interprets drawings/schematics, uses precision measurements, and assists with assembly/disassembly of down-hole tools.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools.
• Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, interpretation of drawings/schematics, use of precision measurements, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with down-hole equipment.
• Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a technical school certificate or higher is preferred.
