Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an Entry-Level R&M Electrical Technician to perform repairs, maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in down-hole tool operations including Directional/RSS or M/LWD sensors. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and effective work practices.

A technical school certificate is required, with an associate degree or higher preferred, and experience with PSL equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform repairs, maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment.
• Ensure all duties are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Support mechanical, electronics, and software tasks for PSL equipment including M/LWD and RSS sensing tools.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.
• Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, orMeasure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.
• Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent. An associate degree or higher is preferred.
