Job summary

RapidBrains in Bengaluru seeks an IT Associate to support day-to-day IT operations, software development projects, data applications, and internal tech platforms. The role requires strong programming and analytical skills, plus good communication and client-handling abilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain data pipelines, develop visualization tools, and assist clients with requirements, issues, and improvements to existing processes.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in CS, IT, or a related field is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering and data applications.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R.
• Experience with data manipulation and visualization/plotting libraries.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals (OOP, testing, design patterns).
• Working knowledge of AWS S3, Microsoft Excel, and R Shiny.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Client-service mindset with the ability to manage client stakeholders.
• Ability to think conceptually and challenge traditional approaches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain existing codebases and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools and related applications.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and implement enhancements or changes to existing processes.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production code.
• Enhance and maintain existing data visualization tools developed using R/Shiny.
• Support Project Managers by extracting and preparing data from multiple databases using custom connections and SQL queries.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and support process-related documentation.
• Support office technology buildouts and facilities-related IT coordination.
• Assist with governance of AI and enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and internal applications as required.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and strong stakeholder management.
