Job summary

Valeo India Private Limited in Chennai seeks a Senior R&D IS Engineer to join the R&D DSIS team. You will manage service and support tickets across COE SW subdomains, handle incidents and changes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.

The role requires strong OS administration knowledge, experience with CoreALM tools, and familiarity with Docker and cloud technologies (AWS).

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD toolchains including Jenkins, GitHub, and Gerrit.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS administration.
• Familiarity with CoreALM tools like TeamForge and CodeBeamer.
• Knowledge of static analysis and vulnerability scan tools (Klocwork, Coverity, BlackDuck).
• Experience with Docker and cloud technologies (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Manage new service and support tickets for COE SW subdomains.

New service/support ticket management on the COE SW subdomains Incident ticket management Change ticket Management Underderstand CI-CDJenkins build/test and different pipeline stages and Valeo GenFramwork and provide support to various software projects as per guidance Understanding the CoreALM, ALM NG and SIE application and provide support to user requests. Always meet customer service within the defined SLA and thereby meet KPIs Ready to work in 24/7 support

Key Competences (Transversal/Professional)

Understanding of CI/CD tools chain (Jenkins, github, gerrit, gcc,nexus, Artifactory, TeamForge, Codebeamer, Klockwork, Blackduck,...)
