Job summary

Honeywell India Technology Center in Gurugram is seeking an R&D Engr/Scientist II – Hydroprocessing and Renewable Fuels to develop novel process technologies and drive innovative solutions.

You will lead pilot plant experiments, collaborate across functions, and contribute to IP through invention disclosures while delivering projects on PAC timelines and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute.
• 2–5 years of work experience for bachelor’s and master’s degrees; 0–2 years’ experience for PhD.
• Strong interest in R&D work.
• Strong technical skills for leading experimentation and data analysis.
• A self-starter and ability to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Follow HS&E policies and guidelines; ensure pilot plant and laboratory operations adhere to procedures.
• Lead NPD programs in Hydroprocessing and Renewable fuels; deliver projects per PAC timelines.
• Lead pilot plant experimentation and model-based DOE to improve effectiveness and agility.
• Interface with R&D functions (research, manufacturing, process design, materials characterization) to deliver programs.
• Provide technical support to regional customers; lead demos and catalyst performance issue resolutions.
• Opportunity for cross-training and presenting solutions to the global R&D community.

Qualifications

This position offers an outstanding opportunity to champion the development of novel technology solutions for sustainable renewable fuels and hydroprocessing portfolio.

Position Responsibilities

• Follow HS&E policies and guidelines and ensure that pilot plant and laboratory operations are conducted in accordance with HS&E procedures.
• Work on new product development (NPD) programs in the areas of Hydroprocessing and Renewable fuels and deliver the assigned projects as per agreed PAC timelines.
• Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring effectiveness and agility.
• Interface with other functions in R&D like research, manufacturing, process design and development, material characterization etc. to deliver assigned development programs.
• Provide technical support to regional customers as and when required. Lead customer demo programs and provide recommendations for catalyst performance issues and catalyst reload projects.
• There will be opportunities for cross-training, as well as the opportunity to contribute solutions to technical problems outside the immediate area of expertise and deliver technical presentations to the global R&D community.
• Come up with new ideas and invention disclosures for process improvement and generate intellectual property for technology development.

You Must Have

• Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute.
• 2-5 years of work experience for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. 0-2 years’ experience for PhD
