Job summary

Honeywell India Technology Center in Gurugram is seeking a R&D Engr/Scientist II – Hydroprocessing and Renewable Fuels to drive development of novel technology solutions for sustainable fuels. You will work on pilot plant and lab-scale projects, delivering on PAC timelines and leading experiments.

The ideal candidate has a degree in chemical engineering/technology with 2-5 years (or PhD 0-2). Strong data analysis, problem solving, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute.
• 2-5 years of work experience for bachelor’s and master’s degrees; 0-2 years for PhD.

Responsibilities

• Follow HS&E policies and ensure pilot plant and lab operations follow procedures.
• Work on NPD programs in Hydroprocessing and Renewable fuels; deliver projects on PAC timelines.
• Lead pilot plant experimentation and model-based DOE to improve effectiveness.
• Interface with R&D, manufacturing, design, and development to deliver programs.
• Provide technical support to regional customers; lead demos and catalyst-related tasks.
• Opportunity for cross-training and presenting to the global R&D community.
• Propose new ideas and invention disclosures for process improvement.

R&D Engr/Scientist II

Qualifications

An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a R&D Engr/Scientist II – Hydroprocessing and Renewable Fuels at Honeywell India Technology Center in Gurugram. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to champion the development of novel technology solutions for sustainable renewable fuels and hydroprocessing portfolio.

Position Responsibilities

• Follow HS&E policies and guidelines and ensure that pilot plant and laboratory operations are conducted in accordance with HS&E procedures.
• Work on new product development (NPD) programs in the areas of Hydroprocessing and Renewable fuels and deliver the assigned projects as per agreed PAC timelines.
• Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring effectiveness and agility.
• Interface with other functions in R&D like research, manufacturing, process design and development, material characterization etc. to deliver assigned development programs.
• Provide technical support to regional customers as and when required. Lead customer demo programs and provide recommendations for catalyst performance issues and catalyst reload projects.
• There will be opportunities for cross-training, as well as the opportunity to contribute solutions to technical problems outside the immediate area of expertise and deliver technical presentations to the global R&D community.
• Come up with new ideas and invention disclosures for process improvement and generate intellectual property for technology development.

You Must Have

• Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute.
• 2-5 years of work experience for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. 0-2 years’ experience for PhD
