Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc, is seeking a Polymer/Materials Chemistry laboratory professional in Karnataka. The role focuses on sample preparation, testing, data collection, and documentation to support RDSR through rigorous analysis of polymer products.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Polymer/Materials/Chemistry with 0–2 years of lab experience and basic polymer testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Polymer/Materials/Chemistry.
• 0–2 years lab experience (internships acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of polymer testing and lab practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sample preparation, testing, and data recording.
• Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment.
• Conduct thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical analysis on polymer products.
• Follow SOPs, ISO procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain records of observations, process conditions, and test results.
• Manage lab inventory, packaging, labeling, and shipment of materials.
• Support failure analysis, product development, and process improvements.
• Follow EHS and 5S practices; suggest improvements.

Who are we looking for?

Support completion of R&D Service Requests (RDSR) through preparation & testing of polymer samples, data collection and reporting.

What will you be doing?
