Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen its Quality Technology and Machine Acceptance processes in Vadodara, India.

The role focuses on analyzing, testing, and improving procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability across all test stages. You will collaborate with internal teams and external laboratories, contributing to CE/standards alignment and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Technology, Machine Building Industry.
• Experience in statistical analysis, machine acceptance and capabilities studies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve analyses, tests, concepts and procedures for Quality Technology and machine acceptance.
• Ensure adherence to test procedures and maintain accuracy and reliability of testing.
• Document test sequences and results per applicable standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with external labs, audit authorities, or internal stakeholders on design and quality aspects of test procedures.
• Approve assembly and inspection equipment per Schaeffler guidelines and SMB specs.
• Run and assess machine and test equipment capability studies, including MSA and VDA as required.
• Support material and supplier inspections during inward/outward stages and participate in project meetings.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, continuously improve and carry out analyses, test methods, concepts and procedures to strengthen the Quality Technology and Machine Acceptance Process.
• Ensure adherence to defined test procedures at all stages of the process and, ensure accuracy and reliability of all testing.
• Execute or oversee execution of test sequence and test series as defined and agreed on, and ensure proper documentation as per the standards.
• Evaluate test results and derive, discuss or decide appropriate measures in case of non-conformance.
• Cooperate with external laboratories, audit authorities or internal stakeholders and customers with respect to design and qualitative aspects of test procedures.
• Approval of assembly and inspection equipment according to Schaeffler guidelines and internal SMB specifications (procedures and instructions).
• Establishment of machine and test equipment capability studies.
• To carry out run @ rate and OEE, Pm/Pmk as per project / customer requirements.
• Perform MSA / VDA as per offer confirmity and applicable standards / procedures.
• Machine Accepatnce ,Trail and Testing as per contractual requirements (e.g. offer conformity)
• Supervising testing technology during the handover phase to the customer.
• Processing customer and supplier complaints.
• Preparing and participating in regular project meetings (e.g. requirements specification meeting, kick-off meeting, assembly start meeting).
• Confomance to CE certification as per applicability.
• Coordination with central Quality for CMM, Washing Cleanliness test -Sample submission and getting results.
• Perform a wide range of MSA as per offer confirmity and applicable standards / procedures.
• Support inward material inspection activity and supplier inspection.
• Prepare Operating Instructions and Training Material for New Machines / Development

Your Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Technology, Machine Building Industry
• Experience in area of statastical analysis, machine acceptance and capabilities studies
