Job summary

EPAM Systems in Coimbatore seeks a Quality Solution Architect to lead large-scale, technically deep solutions aligned to customer goals. You will plan full-cycle project infrastructure, design system components, and decide between ready-made, out-of-the-box, or custom-developed parts.

You will create proofs of concept, audit existing solutions, and determine improvements while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in solution architecture design.
• Expertise in setting up test automation strategy for various domains and projects (T&M and Fixed-Price).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, C#/.NET, or Python.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes (e.g. Scrum, RUP).
• Background in Cloud, DevOps and software engineering practices.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Solution Architect who will be responsible for covering customers' business goals and technical tasks. The role is for those who are enthusiastic about engineering solutions and technologies. You will plan the full-cycle project infrastructure and design, and decide which components the product will comprise – either ready, "out of the box," or developed from scratch. For some parts of the solution, there will be an opportunity to create proofs of concept, conduct audits of existing solutions to evaluate their effectiveness and determine whether and how they can be improved.

Requirements

• 12 to 19 years of experience in IT, with 5+ years of experience in solution architecture design
• Expertise in setting up test automation strategy for different domains and projects (T&M and Fixed-Price)
• Expertise in Test Automation frameworks, tools, and approaches
• Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language, such as Java, C# .NET, or Python
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Knowledge of architecture and ability to suggest different automation solutions based on architecture specifics
• Understanding of basics of enterprise and business architecture
• Experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes, approaches and methods, such as Scrum and RUP
• Background in Cloud, DevOps and Software Engineering Practice"
