Job summary

EPAM Systems in Chennai seeks a Quality Solution Architect to align business goals with technical design, plan full-cycle project infrastructure, and decide on components, whether off-the-shelf or built from scratch.

You will craft proofs of concept, audit existing solutions, and guide architecture decisions while staying current with industry trends and best practices, collaborating with customers during design and implementation.

Qualifications

• 12–19 years in IT with 5+ years in solution architecture design.
• Expertise in setting up test automation strategy for different domains and projects (T&M and Fixed-Price).
• Expertise in Test Automation frameworks, tools, and approaches.
• Knowledge of Java, C#/.NET, or Python.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding of architecture and ability to suggest automation solutions based on specifics.
• Basics of enterprise and business architecture.
• Experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes (Scrum, RUP).
• Background in Cloud, DevOps and software engineering practices.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Solution Architect who will be responsible for covering customers' business goals and technical tasks. The role is for those who are enthusiastic about engineering solutions and technologies. You will plan the full-cycle project infrastructure and design, and decide which components the product will comprise – either ready, "out of the box," or developed from scratch. For some parts of the solution, there will be an opportunity to create proofs of concept, conduct audits of existing solutions to evaluate their effectiveness and determine whether and how they can be improved.
