Job summary

Protiviti India is seeking a Senior Associate to drive enterprise-wide quality governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, ensuring regulatory alignment, operational resilience, and superior client service.

You will lead design and implementation of ERM, QMS, internal controls, and regulatory responses; mentor teams; and report KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of progressive experience in Quality Management, Risk Management, Governance, or related fields.
• Experience in consulting, Big 4, shared services, or global delivery organizations preferred.
• Strong ability to design and implement ERM, QMS, internal controls and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure strong governance, regulatory compliance, and superior service delivery.
• Support governance reviews for business alignment and framework effectiveness.
• Drive adoption of continuous improvement and performance excellence across processes.
• Oversee internal audits, quality assessments, compliance testing, and remediation efforts including root-cause analysis.
• Prepare executive dashboards and reporting for monitoring QRM KPIs.

Position Overview

The Senior Associate is responsible for driving the organizations enterprise-wide quality governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks to ensure strong governance, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and superior service delivery.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 6–7 years of progressive experience in Quality Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or Operational Excellence
• Strong background in consulting, Big 4, shared services, or global delivery organizations
• Proven expertise in driving and implementation of:
• Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Internal controls, compliance assurance, and regulatory frameworks
• Issue management, investigations, root-cause analysis, and regulatory response
• Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams

Drive QRM Strategy: (QRM Policy, Engagement Manual, Forms & Templates etc.)

• Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure strong governance, regulatory compliance, and superior service delivery
• Support the QRM Leadership in periodic governance and framework reviews for business alignment

Continuous improvement: (Simplification & Automation of Forms & Templates, QAP refresh etc.)

• Drive adoption of continuous improvement and performance excellence
• Strengthening the internal controls environment across business processes
• Lead large-scale process optimization and automation initiatives

Continuous monitoring: (continuous control monitoring mechanisms)

• Oversee:
• Internal audits
• Quality assessments
• Compliance and internal control testing cycles
• Root-cause analysis & Control remediation
• Support in assessing emerging risks, governance vulnerabilities, and resilience gaps

QRM Governance: (Accountability Framework, QRM Committee etc.)

• Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
• Championing a strong enterprise-wide quality and risk culture
• Prepare executive dashboards, insights, and reporting for efficient and timely monitoring of QRM-specific KPIs

QRM Awareness & Training: (QRM communications, QRM-specific trainings – Onboarding & Ongoing)

• Ensure on timely QRM communication
• Design and deliver training, awareness, and capability-building programs
• Drive QRM-specific events, to spread awareness

Succession Planning & Team Management: (People management)

• Promote succession planning, capability maturity, and people development
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing QRM team
