Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a senior automotive quality professional based in India (Manesar area) to lead quality management in plastic injection moulding. You will partner with auditors, define quality plans and control plans, and drive zero-defect manufacturing with cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep expertise in IATF 16949, APQP, and continuous improvement, with a focus on reducing COPQ and training teams on quality standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive quality management within plastic injection moulding.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to use quality tools and methodologies effectively.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Confidence working with teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Third Party auditors (TUV) for IATF/ISO recertification audits.
• Prepare & maintain Quality Plan, Inspection Standard / MISP, Control Plan, OPS for product quality.
• Monitor COPQ and QA manpower cost as per targets.
• Support in APQP process of new projects.
• Train and educate team members on quality standards, IATF, safety, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce defects and improve quality.

Job Description

• Liaise with Third Party auditors (TUV) to ensure compliance during recertification Audits / Surveillance Audits of IATF / ISO specifications
• Prepare & maintain Quality Plan, Inspection Standard / MISP, Control Plan, OPS of Product to ensure good quality part with Zero defect
• Monitor and maintain COPQ & QA manpower cost as per target
• Support in APQP process of New Project development
• Training & education to Team members, QREs, Warehouse casual employee on quality standards, IATF, Safety, Inspection and customer requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, reducing defects, and enhancing overall product quality
