Job summary

Continental Device India (CDIL) is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong background in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You will drive quality across all product lines, translate standards into operations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires mentoring teams, coordinating with reliability and testing groups, and engaging with customers during audits and evaluations to ensure robust processes and zero-defect performance.

Qualifications

• B.Tech ECE with minimum 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Ensure QC / QA across all product lines and drive quality improvements.
• Set up quality systems, standards, policies and continuous improvement.
• Translate standards into operational parameters and ensure compliance.
• Monitor product performance from design to field.
• Lead teams in trouble shooting product/process issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with reliability/testing teams for zero-defect MIS reports and statistics.
• Interact with customers on process audits, product evaluation and complaints.
• Maintain QMS to ensure robust processes and liaise with certifying bodies.
• Partner with Supply Chain to evaluate vendors against quality requirements.
• Implement PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA and drive continuous improvement (5S, QCC, Kaizen).

Role & responsibilities

Rich working experience under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Standards

Responsible for QC / QA across all product lines

Setting up quality systems, standards and policies & continuous improvement of the same

Translation of the standards and quality systems into operational parameters and ensure compliance.

Monitoring performance of products from design to field

Leading the teams in trouble shooting the problems both in product / process and arriving at the solutions from incoming materials to FG

Association with reliability / testing teams in achieving zero defects to create & maintain MIS reports / statistical reports related to Quality

Interact with customers on process audits, product evaluation & customer complaints

Ensuring effective implementation & maintenance of QMS resulting in robust process performance and consistent product quality and liaising with certifying bodies.

Partnering with Supply Chain in Vendor evaluation / assessment to establish quality requirements from suppliers / vendors and providing inputs for improvements

Effective implementation of PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA

Driving continuous improvements culture through 5S, QCC, Kaizen, Six Sigma
