The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Quality/QMS roles within regulated manufacturing industries, with knowledge of standards such as AS9100 and ISO 13485. This role involves driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with international standards while promoting a strong quality culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality/QMS roles within regulated manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience with multiple QMS standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, IRIS/ISO 22163).
• Proven track record in managing external audits and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain an integrated QMS aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and IRIS/ISO 22163.
• Lead internal and external audits, certification processes, and customer assessments.
• Interface with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and key customers.

Position Overview

The QMS Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, Rail, and Automotive sectors. The role ensures full compliance with applicable international standards, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific expectations, while fostering a strong quality culture and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain an integrated QMS aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and IRIS/ISO 22163.
• Lead internal and external audits, certification processes, and customer assessments.
• Interface with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and key customers (FAA/EASA, FDA, OEMs, primes).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across functions.
• Monitor QMS performance metrics and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in Quality/QMS roles within regulated manufacturing industries
• Hands-on experience with multiple QMS standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, IRIS/ISO 22163)
• Proven track record in managing external audits and certifications
• Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (FAA/EASA, FDA, customer primes, OEMs)
• Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage.
