Job summary

Swan Realty, based in Mumbai, seeks a Quality Assurance & Compliance professional to implement QA/QC plans, ITPs, and to conduct material testing and site inspections ensuring code compliance. You will maintain logs, NCRs, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with contractors and site teams.

The role requires a civil engineering degree and strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of quality testing standards (IS Codes / ASTM) and quality management systems.
• Strong documentation, analytical skills, and clear communication with multi-disciplinary site teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITP).
• Conduct material testing and site inspections to ensure code compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), method statements, and standard inspection checklists.
• Material Testing & Site Inspections: Conduct routine material testing, laboratory sample verifications, and physical inspections of structural/finishing execution to ensure full compliance with code standards and technical specifications.
• Non-Conformance & Documentation: Maintain detailed quality logs, inspection reports, material test certificates, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken promptly.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors and site engineering teams to resolve quality bottlenecks, enforce quality control protocols, and conduct pre-pour/pre-execution joint checks.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering.

Experience Requirements & Technical Skills

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of quality testing standards (IS Codes / ASTM), site inspection procedures, laboratory testing protocols, and quality management systems.
