Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Diploma in Engineering holder for a role in LAB testing with exposure to Metallurgical, Corrosion and Mechanical testing. The candidate should understand NABL activities and prepare comprehensive test reports.

The role involves planning, coordinating with customers and 3rd party inspectors, and collaborating with internal departments. Familiarity with drawings, QA plans, MPP, MSTP and SOP is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of LAB testing activities in Metallurgical, Corrosion & Mechanical.
• Knowledge of National/ International standards in testing – ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO.
• Should have performed testing & preparation of test reports.
• Knowledge & Experience in NABL activities.

Responsibilities

• Planning of activities & coordination with customers, 3rd party inspection agencies and various internal departments.
• Shall be conversant with documents like drawings, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Manufacturing Procedure (MPP), Material Sampling and Testing Plan (MSTP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Experience in handling test specimens (machining) in machine shop & Heat treatment activities (furnace operation).
• Knowledge & Experience in handling Thermocouples, Recorders & Temperature Indicators calibration activities.
