Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Pune, India, is seeking a Quality Inspector to help ensure products meet technical specifications under close supervision. You will assist with final checks on the production line, compare parts to specs, and document deviations using standard systems.

The role requires basic knowledge of measurement equipment and assembly, with relocation support available. This is an on-site position focused on maintaining quality norms across processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of engine assembly and its parts is expected.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc. is preferred.
• Ability to use standard measurement equipment to verify specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with final product quality verification on the production line.
• Compare component, material, equipment and product characteristics to technical specifications to identify defects.
• Separate products not meeting specifications using basic measurement techniques and equipment.
• Document nonconforming products in specified systems and report deviations.
• Follow company quality norms and standards in all tasks.

Job Summary:

Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line.Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment.Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Experience:
