Job summary

Cummins Inc. in India (Maharashtra) seeks a Customer Quality Analyst to advocate for internal and external customers in resolving product, supply chain, and process quality issues as part of our quality organization.

You will work with senior quality members, apply Six Sigma and data-driven methods, and contribute to process improvements while aligning with Cummins' commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This role is hybrid with on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Spanish language proficiency at B2 level is required.
• Minimal to intermediate level of experience.

The Customer Quality Analyst will support the business to advocate for internal and external customers in resolving product quality, supply chain quality and process quality related issues.

Key Responsibilities

Develops understanding of customer expectations and requirements for quality with the support of senior quality members. Contributes and supports closing action plans for customer quality issues including product, supply chain or process related. Uses Customer Centric metrics to prioritize customer quality issues. With supervision, develops external relationships and supports developing external quality communications. Contributes to process improvement efforts. Supports the identification of problems, prioritization of actions and may lead Six Sigma projects or continuous improvement actions. Supports the implementation of the vision and strategy for the Customer Quality organization.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required, Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Minimal to intermediate level of experience required.

Additional Experience Required

Spanish Language Proficiency is a must . Should be at level of B2 - Mid to Upper Intermediate .

Shift timings : 5pm to 2am
