Job summary

NewSpace Research and Technologies in Bengaluru invites applications for a skilled inspection professional to ensure quality on composite components and assemblies. You will create inspection plans, maintain reports, and support MRB processes within a defence-focused startup environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with wet layup, prepreg layup, trimming, bonding, and basic inspection tools such as Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, and bevel protractor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on inspection of composite manufacturing processes.
• Defects identification and RCCA.
• Knowledge of MRB process.

Job description

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inspection of Composite components, Sub assemblies and assembly.
• Creating inspection plans and maintaining inspection reports.

Must have skills:

• Hands-on experience in inspection of composite manufacturing process like wet layup, prepreg layup, trimming, bonding, Sub assembly, assembly of composite structures.
• Defects identification, RCCA
• Knowledge on MRB process.
• Handling of basic Instruments like Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bevel protractor etc.

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge/Experience in FAI,FMEA, Control plan.
• Diploma in Mechanical with 2-5 Years experience.
