Jobitus in Mumbai is seeking a Quality Head to lead quality control functions, overseeing incoming materials, artwork supervision, and printing quality for Flexo and Offset processes.

The role focuses on maintaining COAs, calibrating QC instruments, and training the QC team to improve efficiency and reduce waste, ensuring adherence to client specifications and internal SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality control and management.
• Experience working with flexo and offset printing processes.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Ensure incoming raw material meets specifications.
• Supervise artwork and client artwork approvals.
• Oversee shade card, proofreading, and online shade approval.
• Monitor printing quality as per sampling plan; ensure winding and direction correctness.
• Issue COA with every job and maintain internal QC reports.
• Train and supervise QC staff; maintain records of checks and calibrations.
• Maintain QC instruments calibration, SOPs, and formats for daily workflow.

• To Ensure The Incoming Raw Material According To Specification
• To Supervise Artwork With Respect To Approved Client Artwork
• To Supervise And Get The Shade Card, Job Proof Reading, Online Job Shade Approval Done
• To Supervise And Check The Printed Job As Per Sampling Plan
• To Supervise And Ensure That All Winding And Printing Direction Are Correct
• To Ensure Coa To Be Issued With Every Job
• To Prepare, Ensure And Maintain All The Internal Quality Control Reports
• To Supervise Manual Qc Dept And Give Training To Them Also For Mainting The Checking Records.
• To Maintain All The Qc Instruments Calibration & Certification And Sop Procedures & Formats For Daily Workflow Of Flexo & Offset Dept.
• Responsible For Reducing The Wastage To Minimum Possible In Offset & Flexo Printing & Post Printing Dept.
• Responsible For Rejection & Wastage In Printing / Post Printing Related Dept.
• To Do Root Cause Analysis Of Internal Rejection And Make Internal Capa And Rejection Reports
• To Attend Customer Complaint In Co-Ordination With Production Dept. And To Do Rca And Make Robust Capa Report
• To Attend All Qc Audits And Compliance For The Same.
• To Resolve Any Other Issues Related To Production And Quality For Better Efficiency And Productivity.
