Job summary

Jumbotail Technologies in Karnataka seeks a quality inspector for FnV operations. Conduct inbound quality checks and grading at the FnV hub, perform visual inspections, and reject sub-standard produce to uphold freshness and display standards.

You will also audit quality at J24 stores, track shrinkage, and maintain quality logs while coordinating with procurement and operations to address vendor issues and ensure SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or related qualification.
• Experience: Freshers welcome; 1–3 years in FnV operations, mandi procurement or food quality inspection preferred.
• Good understanding of Fruits & Vegetables quality, freshness and grading standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects in produce.
• Willingness to work 6 days a week, including night shifts and travel for market visits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or other relevant agriculture-related qualification.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome; candidates with 13 years of experience in FnV operations, mandi procurement or food quality inspection will have an advantage.
• Good understanding of Fruits & Vegetables quality, freshness and grading standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects in produce.
• Comfortable working in an on-ground, operational environment across distribution hubs and retail stores.
• Basic comfort with maintaining quality records, tracking data and reporting.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors, procurement and operations teams.
• Languages: Kannada and English.
