Job summary

TECHNOCRAFT VENTURES LIMITED is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality across Sewerage Network, STP, and Pumping Station works. You will set up an on-site lab, implement QC plans, and conduct inspections and testing per project specifications under the Project Head’s guidance.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory) with preferred Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, plus hands-on experience in infrastructure QA/QC.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up a lab on site for testing and prepare related equipment.
• Develop and implement material quality control plans per BOQ and specs.
• Perform inspections, testing, and maintain records of results and certifications.
• Inspect incoming materials (pipes, fittings, concrete, chemicals) as directed by Project Head.
• Document and maintain records of test results, inspections, and compliance certificates.
• Conduct daily quality tests (slump, flow, temperature, cube filing) as required.
• Carry out soil and fine aggregate compaction tests per rapid moisture meter and oven-dry methods.
• Undertake sieve analysis for aggregates and coordinate with procurement for supplier performance.

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all construction activities on the Sewerage Network, STP & Pumping Station project adhere to established quality standards and specifications. Under the guidance of the Project Head, you will perform inspections, assist with quality control procedures, and contribute to the successful completion of the project.

Role & responsibilities

• Set up a lab on site for testing, including preparation and set-up of related equipment.
• Develop and implement material quality control plans in accordance with BOQ, project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct inspection, examination, and testing procedures, and maintain record of inspection, examination, and testing data.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, including pipes, fittings, concrete, chemicals, and other components, as instructed by Project Head.
• Document and maintain regular records of material test results, inspection reports, and compliance certificates in a clear and concise manner.
• All Quality test to be done on Daily Basis Like Slump Test /Flow test, Temperature Maintain, Cube Filing as per frequency.
• Soil & Fine aggregate Compaction test as per rapid moisture meter & oven dry method.
• Undertakes Sieve analysis for Fine aggregate & coarse aggregate.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with project engineers to review material specifications and propose alternatives or improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory), Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience working as a QAQC Engineer on infrastructure projects, preferably in the field of Sewerage Networks, STP & Pumping Station or similar utilities.
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles, standards, and practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
