Overview
As a Quality Engineer – Performance Testing at Tiger Analytics, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and measuring application performance. You will proactively contribute to testing strategies, offer recommendations, and identify risks and solutions associated with software applications. This role involves leading the design and support of performance testing systems and strategies, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate non-functional requirements into performance test cases and scenarios.
- Develop and execute performance testing plans and scripts using modern tools such as k6 Cloud, BlazeMeter, Azure Load Testing, and AWS Distributed Load Testing.
- Document and communicate performance-related risks and insights to project management and stakeholders.
- Integrate monitoring and observability platforms including Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana + Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, and Dynatrace to gain actionable insights.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to achieve team, department, and business goals.
- Manage and mentor team members, including responsibility for hiring as needed.
Role Overview
- Drive modern, cloud-based performance testing initiatives across enterprise applications.
- Design and execute performance test strategies from estimation to reporting.
- Collaborate with product owners, consultants, and developers to define realistic scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Lead a team, review deliverables, and provide feedback to ensure quality outcomes.
- Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and present clear insights to stakeholders.
- Manage client-facing responsibilities while ensuring timely delivery in Agile environments.
