Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. is seeking a seasoned test engineer in Bangalore to drive quality metrics and contribute to a Kotlin-based automation framework. You will participate in E2E and performance testing, collaborating with Quality Engineers across departments and time zones.

The role requires 10–12 years of testing experience, strong coding familiarity, and hands-on experience with CI/CD in an agile environment. Hybrid work may be available for selected projects.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Jenkins, Selenium, Gatling, REST, E2E and UAT with CI/CD.
• Ability to read and write code and follow good design patterns.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across time zones.

• Overall experience of 10-12 years in manual and automated testing.
• Ability to write and read code and familiarity with good patterns.
• Analytic thinking to investigate and reproduce issues.
• Familiar with using automated CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins).
• Curiosity in leveraging AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub CoPilot, Cursor.AI, Claude Code etc.) to accelerate development velocity while maintaining code quality.
• Clear and precise communication of problems in English.
• Basic knowledge of network products and technologies.
• Experience with agile development methods.
• Experience in hybrid work environments.
