Job summary

Ashtech India invites a senior leader to shape the technology roadmap for ultrafine SCMs, microfine injection grout systems and cementitious materials. You will drive product innovation, develop differentiated technical solutions, and lead QA, R&D, and manufacturing improvement initiatives across major infrastructure projects.

The role demands 12–20 years of relevant experience in cementitious materials, concrete technology, geotechnical solutions, and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's Degree/PhD in Concrete Technology, Materials Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials or Cement Technology is preferred.
• 12 to 20 years of relevant experience in SCMs, Concrete Technology, Construction Chemicals, Cementitious Materials, Geotechnical Solutions, Injection Grouts, Product Development or QA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technology roadmap for Ultrafine SCMs, Microfine Injection Grouts and specialty cementitious materials.
• Drive product innovation and future technology platforms.
• Develop differentiated technical solutions for customer requirements.
• Establish and improve quality management systems.
• Ensure consistency in particle size, fineness, chemical composition and product performance.
• Develop quality standards, testing procedures, protocols and acceptance criteria.
• Lead R&D initiatives for advanced SCMs, concrete technology and low-carbon construction materials.
• Develop new products, applications and technology platforms.
• Conduct laboratory research, pilot-scale trials, field validation and performance testing.
• Drive development of high-performance SCM systems.
• Develop and improve Microfine Injection Grout technologies.
• Support applications in tunnelling, mining, hydroelectric projects and underground construction.
• Develop solutions for groundwater control, ground improvement and geotechnical stabilization.
• Improve product consistency, production efficiency and process capability.
• Optimize yield and manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.
• Lead root-cause analysis, CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with customers, consultants and project stakeholders to understand technical challenges.
• Support product trials, application engineering and major infrastructure projects.
• Conduct technical workshops and provide solution-based technical support.

1. Technology & Product Roadmap

2. Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with BIS, ASTM, EN, IRC, IS and customer-specific requirements.

3. Research & Development

• Lead R&D initiatives for advanced SCMs, concrete technology and low-carbon construction materials.

• Conduct laboratory research, pilot-scale trials, field validation and performance testing.
• Drive development of high-performance SCM systems.

4. Microfine Injection Technology

• Develop and improve Microfine Injection Grout technologies.

5. Manufacturing & Process Improvement
