Job summary

Trehan IRIS is seeking a Diploma holder in Civil / Quality Engineering to support the Quality Manager in implementing quality control on civil and finishing activities at site in Gurugram.

You will conduct stage-wise inspections, prepare daily QA reports, raise NCRs for non-conformities, and coordinate with contractors to ensure IS code compliance and high workmanship. The role requires 5-8 years of site QA experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil / Materials / Quality Engineering required.
• 5-8 years of site quality control experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of IS Codes and construction quality standards would be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with concrete, soil compaction, and finishing works.
• Proficient in MS Office and site documentation/audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform stage-wise inspections of civil works (excavation, PCC, RCC, backfilling, soil compaction).
• Inspect finishing works: tile/stone fixing, plaster, painting, false ceiling, etc.
• Check levels, alignment, plumb, joint quality, and workmanship as per drawings.
• Conduct material inspection and verify approved materials are used on site.
• Prepare daily quality reports, checklists, and maintain ITP records.
• Assist in concrete cube casting, slump tests, and density tests.
• Raise NCRs for non-conformities and follow up for rectification.
• Support mock-up preparation and approval process.
• Coordinate with contractors for quality-related issues.
• Assist in documentation and audit preparation.
