Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager with expertise in Concrete Technology, Construction Chemicals, QA/QC, Mix Design, and Technical Services. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in concrete admixtures, ready‑mix concrete (RMC), quality assurance, technical support, customer engagement, and complaint resolution. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, R&D, Production, and Project teams while providing technical support across multiple project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize concrete mix designs as per project and customer requirements.
- Recommend suitable concrete admixture solutions for various applications.
- Conduct laboratory trials, site trials, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team for product approvals, customer acquisition, and project conversions.
- Resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor concrete production quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee QA/QC testing of cement, concrete, aggregates, reinforcement steel, bricks, and AAC blocks.
- Supervise batching operations, moisture correction, workability, and concrete dispatch at RMC plants.
- Ensure proper execution of slump tests, cube tests, compressive strength tests, fresh concrete, cement, and aggregate testing.
- Maintain quality documentation, including test reports, cube registers, audit reports, and site inspection records.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams during concrete pours and technical inspections.
- Support new product development, application engineering, and technical evaluations.
- Conduct technical training for customers, applicators, and internal sales teams.
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, QA/QC standards, safety guidelines, and company quality policies.
- Represent the organization in technical meetings, customer presentations, and project discussions.
- Travel extensively to provide on‑site technical support and strengthen customer relationships.
