Job summary

MoxiWorks in Pune, India, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design and execute automated tests for web applications. You'll build UI automation with Playwright, Python, and pytest, and implement API tests, while collaborating with developers and product teams.

This role involves CI/CD integration with Buildkite, debugging failures, and improving automation coverage. Knowledge of Docker and AWS ECR is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA/Automation Testing experience.
• Strong experience with Playwright, Python, and pytest.
• Hands-on experience with API testing/automation.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and Git.
• Experience with Buildkite is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and AWS ECR is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile, and defect lifecycle.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Preferred

• Experience testing WordPress-based applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement grooming, test planning, sprint planning, and release discussions.
• Provide clear communication on test progress, risks, blockers, and automation results.
• Take ownership of assigned features from requirement analysis through release validation.
• Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements.
• Help maintain the stability and reliability of the QA automation suite.
