Quality Engineer

Permanent / Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with expertise in ISO, AS9100, and AS9120 standards to ensure the highest levels of quality in our products and processes. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in quality management systems, process improvement, and compliance with aerospace industry standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining certifications, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in quality management systems, process improvement, and compliance with aerospace industry standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining certifications, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Maintain and improve QMS in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9120 standards.
Lead audits (internal, external, and supplier) and ensure non-conformances are addressed and resolved.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedures, manuals, and quality policies.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
Use tools like FMEA, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis to analyze and resolve quality issues.

Supplier Quality Management

Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Conduct supplier audits and inspections, providing feedback and improvement recommendations.
Collaborate with the procurement team to qualify new suppliers and materials.

Compliance & Certification

Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements related to aerospace quality standards.
Coordinate and facilitate certification and recertification processes for AS9100 and AS9120.
Stay updated on changes in standards and ensure the organization’s adherence to new requirements.

Product Quality Assurance

Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures for incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
Analyze data from inspections and testing to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints, providing timely and effective solutions.

Training & Collaboration

Train employees on quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to promote a culture of quality.
Act as a quality point of contact for customer queries and support quality-related discussions.

Must-Have

Skills and experience

3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9120 standards.
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies like FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
Experience with audit processes (internal and external) and handling non-conformances.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
Familiarity with tools such as ERP/QMS software and MS Office Suite.

Good To Have

Certification in quality management systems (e.g., CQE, CQA, or ASQ certifications).
Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Experience with regulatory compliance and documentation for FAA or EASA standards.
