Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Field Quality Engineer - Civil for a contract assignment in Gurgaon, Haryana, focusing on civil and structural quality for renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include Implementing FQP & SOPs, material testing oversight, site laboratory duties, and inspections of rebar, formwork and concrete foundations. You will also raise NCRs, train site personnel, and coordinate with the client quality team to ensure quality excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Field Quality Inspection (Civil) for Power Transmission, Renewable, Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 4 years in Solar projects Field Quality Inspection.
• Knowledge of codes and standards for material testing and civil construction.

• Ensure functioning of on-site material testing laboratory.
• Inward material inspection & periodic testing at site lab.
• Conduct training for Contractor supervisors & workers.
• Inspect rebar, formwork and concrete pouring at switchyard, control rooms & transformer foundations.
• Ensure quality control of concrete.
• Inspect concrete pile foundations / MMS erection & module mounting; inspect cable trench, road, drainage & boundary wall.
• Identify NCRs, root cause, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customer quality team to address concerns.
• Develop shared platform for best construction practices.
• Report non-conformance and verify corrective actions.

Job Description

• Implementation of FQP & SOP's -Civil & Structural.
• Initiate source approval of construction materials.
• Initiate & Witness construction material testing & Design Mix.
• Ensure functioning of site material testing laboratory.
• Inward material inspection & Periodic testing at site lab.
• Conduct training for Contractor supervisors & workmen.
• Inspection of Rebar, Formwork & Concrete pouring at Switchyard, Control rooms & Transformer foundation.
• Ensure Quality control of concrete.
• Inspection of Concrete pile foundations /MMS Erection & Module mounting Inspection of Cable trench, Road, Drainage & Boundary wall.
• Identify gaps, Initiate NCR (Non-Conformity Report) and suggest corrective measures to prevent its recurrence.
• Close coordination with customer quality team to understand their concerns (Least Satisfied Areas/ Scope for Improvement).
• Develop shared platform for Best Construction Practices/ Recurring quality issues, if any.
• Reporting Non-Conformance, Identifying Root Cause and recommending corrective actions & Verification of corrective action.

Qualifications (Essential)

• 4-6 yrs of experience in handling Field Quality Inspection (Civil) of Power Transmission & Distribution/Renewable /Oil & Gas projects.
• Min 4yrs of experience in handling Field Quality Inspection (Civil) of Solar projects.
• Knowledge of codes & standards pertaining to material testing & civil construction.
