Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) procedures.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and checklists.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure workmanship quality.
• Monitor civil construction activities related to solar plant infrastructure.
• Identify and report non-conformities (NCRs).
• Verify quality of incoming materials like cement and steel.
• Ensure materials meet IS/ASTM or project-specific standards.

Skills

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Quality Engineer with a background in solar power projects. The role involves ensuring all civil works (foundations, structures, roads, and related infrastructure) meet quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements at solar project sites.

Role & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) procedures at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and codes/standards.
• Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and checklists.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and adherence to standards.
• Monitor civil construction activities related to solar plant infrastructure.
• Identify and report non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
• Verify quality of incoming materials like cement, steel, aggregates, bolts, and structural components.
• Ensure materials meet IS/ASTM or project-specific standards.
• Coordinate with labs for field and third-party testing.
• Work closely with site engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Support cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Coordinate with clients/consultants during inspections and audits.

Qualification & Experience

• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices in solar projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and NCR management
• Understanding of IS codes, ASTM standards, and construction norms
• Hands‑on experience in foundation works, RCC, and structural inspections
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs
• Experience in utility‑scale solar projects
• Knowledge of pile foundations and module mounting structures (MMS)
• Familiarity with quality audits and ISO standards
• Diploma/B.E/B. Tech in civil /Electrical.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience
