Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions in Chennai is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join our QA team. You will help implement 5S and Kaizen, maintain quality documentation, and operate and calibrate testing equipment to ensure product quality and compliance.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional, offering hands-on exposure to inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with 5S and Kaizen principles.
• Experience creating and maintaining quality documentation.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.
• Participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and safety.
• Create, maintain, and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using testing equipment.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
• Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues and participate in corrective actions.
• Communicate with production, engineering, and customer service to address quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements
