Vsan Group in Chennai, Tamil Nadu is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee quality control for pneumatic cylinders used in oil and gas and automobile applications. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal benchmarks.

You will inspect materials, run tests, maintain records, and drive CAPA while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.

Formación

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; freshers with strong knowledge may apply.
• Strong understanding of QC processes and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect incoming materials and final products for dimensional accuracy.
• Perform pneumatic cylinder tests including pressure, endurance, and leak tests.
• Create and maintain inspection reports and test records.
• Collaborate with production, design, and procurement to resolve issues.
• Implement CAPA for product and process improvements.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and customer standards compliance.
• Handle feedback and support audits or evaluations.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to oversee the quality control process for pneumatic cylinders used in oil & gas and automobile applications. The ideal candidate will ensure our products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and final products for dimensional accuracy and functional performance.

Conduct quality tests on pneumatic cylinders including pressure, endurance, and leak tests.

Develop and maintain quality documents including inspection reports, control plans, and test records.

Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process improvements.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific standards.

Handle customer feedback and support audits or technical evaluations.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of mechanical quality control processes.

Familiarity with pneumatic systems and testing instruments.

Knowledge of GD&T, QC tools, and documentation.

Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Salary Range:

₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
