Hach, part of Veralto, seeks a Quality Engineer for the India Commercial Organization in Bangalore. You will oversee incoming/outgoing material inspections, site surveys, and FAT support to ensure water-quality analyzer systems meet technical and documentation standards.

The role requires 2–5 years of quality experience, ability to interpret P&ID/GA drawings, and proactive problem solving. Hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for professional growth and ISO-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical).
• 2-5 years of experience with proven service revenue growth responsibility.
• Ability to read and verify engineering drawings such as P&ID, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams, and perform inspection against BOM, technical specifications.
• Experience in quality documentation control including Material Test Certificates (MTC/TC), inspection reports, calibration certificates, and IMS knowledge.
• Willingness to relocate across India

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing material inspection for all materials at Hach facility or dispatched.
• Verify materials against PO, BOM, P&ID, GA drawings and specs before manufacturing or assembly.
• Conduct site surveys prior to bidding for revamp/refurbishment projects.
• Support FAT and customer inspections ensuring system readiness and documentation completeness.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure traceability of materials.
• Identify NCRs and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure IMS compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Demonstrate liquid analyzers during FAT to customers.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming materials and outgoing finished products related to water quality analyzer systems, panels, and sample handling systems. The role includes Site Surveys prior to bidding, inspection, documentation control, verification of technical compliance, and maintaining quality records in line with company standards and project requirements.

This position is part of the India Commercial Organization located in Bangalore and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Perform incoming and Outgoing material inspection for all the material either received at HACH facility or Dispatched.
• Perform incoming material inspection (Inbound Quality) of panels, tubing, fittings, sensors, transmitters, and electrical/mechanical components received from vendors.
• Verify materials against Purchase Orders, BOM, P&ID, GA drawings, and technical specifications before releasing them for manufacturing or project assembly.
• Conduct outgoing / final inspection (Outbound Quality) of analyzer panels, sampling systems, and integrated packages prior todispatch, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct Site Surveys prior to bidding for the revamp/refurbishment projects to ensure applicablesolution isprovided.
• Support andwitnessFactory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer inspections, ensuring system functionality, calibration readiness, and documentation completeness.
• Maintainquality documentation including Material Test Certificates (MTC), inspection reports, calibration certificates, and ensure proper traceability of materials.
• Identifynon-conformance (NCR) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with the company Integrated Management System (IMS) including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
• Knowledge of liquid analyzers, including calibration, functional testing, anddemonstratinganalyzer operation to customers during FAT
