Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Bengaluru is seeking an entry-level Quality Engineer to assure products conform to established requirements through audit, inspection and test activities. The role interacts with multiple departments and external experts to advance Zimmer Biomet Quality goals. Work Location: Bangalore, Hybrid (3 Days in office).

Shift timing 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of related experience and familiarity with 21 CFR 820/ISO13485

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR 820/ISO13485 and other government/ISO standards preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries.
• Medical device experience preferred.
• Experience with Windchill preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite and Adobe).

Responsibilities

• Perform CAPA investigations as assigned.
• Conduct product evaluations to support complaint investigations; Verification of product intended use, product related risk, probable root cause.
• Maintain and analyze department data; perform statistical analysis and identify the need for escalation and/or opportunities for improvement.
• Carry out effective resolution when tasked with difficult or unexpected situations in the workplace, as well as complex business challenges.
• Assist in establishing efficient and streamlined processes across the department.
• Assist in management and assessment of compliance to external standards within the quality management system.
• Provide support to Quality Department as requested and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Process engineering changes and support product development in design changes
• Other duties as assigned.
