Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Bengaluru is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to deliver data-driven web applications and APIs. You will drive frontend and backend development, ensuring scalable middleware and integration across systems.

The role involves collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java Spring Boot, React.js, APIs (REST/OData/GraphQL), and cloud services, plus Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in modern web technologies and strong frontend framework knowledge, preferably React.js.
• Expertise in Java stacks (Spring/Spring Boot) for backend services.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade APIs (REST/OData/GraphQL) with API Gateway and caching.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and deploying on Azure/cloud/on-premises.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and testing best practices.

Job Summary

Full Stack Engineer will provide best-fit data webapps solutions for one or more projects; will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and lead frontend and backend development for applications. In this capacity, the incumbent will ensure project implementation compliance, and utilize technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions.

Work Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office).

How You'll Create Impact

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable middleware / integration automation solutions for system-to-system interactions and business functions.
• Develop and maintain APIs to expose business functions as APIs using TIBCO , Java Spring Boot and Azure services
• Develop and maintain EDI based integration for B2B and intercompany business using TIBCO EDI software and mappings.
• Configure and maintain API gateways and messaging services landscape in Azure for different business functions.
• Work with business and IT functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain documentation, monitoring, and alerting setup for APIs, integration workflow, automation and landscape.
• Research and validate innovative solutions (both external and internal), leveraging best practices and applying critical thinking approach for quality and process efficiencies.

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps, data, security) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Work with Sr Engineers to manage and maintain all web applications and API within Shared Services Group, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

Your Background

Education/Experience Requirements

• Expertise in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, TypeScript) and strong front-end framework knowledge, preferably React.js
• Expertise in Java stacks (spring framework/spring boot) tech for backend services.
• Experience with developing enterprise grade APIs (REST/OData/GraphQL) using spring boot, use of API Gateway, API policies, Caching technologies (redis)
• Experience in containerizing applications as docker, as well deploying applications on premises and on cloud (azure) landscape.
• Experience in using CICD workflow for services.
• Strong grasp of testing best practices (unit, integration, E2E).
• Experience in API designs, API security (OAuth/mTLS), API patterns, messaging services such as Azure Service Bus, EventHub, Kafka etc.
• Experience with using SQL based databases.
• Solid communication skills, clearly communicate with IT functional and business partners.
• Should be able to design and code independently.
