Job summary

Landor is seeking a Quality Control Executive (Packaging Specialist) to ensure brand guidelines and production specifications are met. You will review copy for errors, maintain the QC tracker, and collaborate with the production team to drive quality improvements.

The role operates in a hybrid setup with collaboration across designers, artists, and managers, ensuring high standards of packaging quality and compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in using design and office software (Adobe Creative Suite, Office).
• Proficient with Mac and have knowledge of QC processes and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to portray information clearly in layouts.

Responsibilities

• Understand brand guidelines, briefs and legal requirements to ensure work meets brief and print/production specs.
• Read copy to check spelling/grammar and review work against the checklist.
• Maintain the QC tracker and work with production manager on resolution/improvement processes.
• Support quality process improvement and documentation across projects as needed.
• Coordinate with designers and production managers on design details, legality and production quality standards.

What you’ll do

• Ability to understand/follow brand guidelines, Designer’s briefs, and legal requirements to ensure work is delivered according to brief & print/production specifications.
• Read the copy thoroughly and ensure there are no spelling/grammatical errors, review the work and ensure all checkpoints follow the checklist.
• Maintain the QC tracker and work with the production manager for the resolution/improvement process.
• Support the business in other areas as may be required from time to time with quality process improvement/development process documents and implementation according to the project.
• Coordinate with artists and production managers regarding design details, specifics, and legalities of work to maintain top-level standards of production work and quality control

What you’ll need

• Fluent in the use of relevant design and office software - Adobe Creative Suite, Office, etc.
• Proficient in working with Mac and sound knowledge of QC processes and tools.
• Sound technical knowledge and attention to detail, and should have a great sense of layout, and how to display information.
