Job summary

AP Management Consultants in India is seeking a QC professional to conduct raw material and finished product testing as per specifications and to operate laboratory instruments.

You will perform chemical and paint quality tests, in-process checks, resolve quality issues, and maintain batch records and SOPs, while coordinating with Production, Stores, and Purchase to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct raw material and finished product testing as per specifications.
• Perform routine chemical and paint quality tests including viscosity, density, fineness, drying time, opacity, shade and gloss.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration.
• Perform in-process quality checks and support batch approval/release.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, deviations and batch failures.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores and Purchase for quality-related issues.
• Maintain QC records, test reports, batch records and SOPs.
• Support quality audits and ensure compliance with defined standards.
