Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy invites applications for a QC Executive in Dahej. The role involves hands-on operation of GC, GPC, FTIR, and related meters, along with QC record-keeping and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a BSc or MSc in Chemistry with at least 2 years of QC experience, plus familiarity with ISO documentation and SAP. This is an on-site position offering standard benefits.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Chemistry required.
• At least 2 years of QC experience.
• Experience with instruments: GC, GPC, FTIR, viscosity and moisture meters.
• Knowledge of ISO documentation and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, GPC, FTIR, viscosity and moisture meters.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process and finished products per standards.
• Maintain safety, 5S and lab records.
• Prepare COA, SDS, TDS documentation.
• Inventory management of chemicals and glassware.
• Review QC records and trends; ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Hands on instruments Gas Chromatography, Gel Permeation Chromatography, FTIR, Type B viscosity, color meter and Moisture meter.
• Measuring ability of Non-volatile content, acid value, amine value, NCO%, Peel adhesion, Shear strength, amine value and appearance.
• Responsible for inspection of raw material, packing material, In-process & Finished product samples as per standards.
• Interdepartmental coordination ability.
• Responsible for inventory management of Chemicals, Glass-wares and consumables.
• Responsible for equipment management.
• Reviewing of quality records related to QC activities.
• Maintain Safety & 5S in Laboratory.
• Familiar with documentation related all quality control departments as COA, SDS, TDS.
• Maintain routine analysis record on daily basis.
• Maintain time management according the sample plan.
• Sample management of counter samples and control samples.
• Skilled in computer operation, document preparation, preparation of external report, Data processing, monthly report creation, sending and receiving e-mails.
• Analysis capability in complaint analysis, Trend analysis, Reason pursuit.
• Skilled in Statistical Quality control.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP.
