Job summary

BVG Life Science Limited (BVG Group) in Kasarwadi, Pune invites applications for Sr. Executive/Executive – Quality Control to oversee QC operations, conduct analyses, and ensure compliance with ICH, FDA, and ISO standards. The role includes supporting audits, method validation, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will supervise lab activities, calibrate instruments (HPLC/GC/FTIR/UV-Vis), maintain documentation, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant science/chemistry field (B.Pharm/M.Pharm or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biotechnology).
• 1–3 years of quality control experience in pharma/herbal industry.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and regulatory guidelines (ICH, FDA, ISO).
• Proficient in MS Office and well-developed documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products as per SOPs (API, IP, BP).
• Ensure timely sampling and testing to meet production schedules and release timelines.
• Prepare and review test reports and analytical data with proper documentation per GDP practices.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis).
• Monitor lab conditions to comply with cGMP, GLP, ISO standards.
• Assist in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party audits.
• Support method validation, stability studies, and project-based analytical work.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within QC.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Executive / Executive – Quality Control to ensure the quality and compliance of our products through systematic testing and monitoring processes. The role involves supervising lab operations, conducting analysis, and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products as per SOPs (API, IP, BP, etc.)
• Ensure timely sampling and testing to meet production schedules and release timelines.
• Prepare and review test reports, analytical data, and maintain proper documentation as per GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc.
• Monitor lab conditions to comply with cGMP, GLP, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party audits.
• Support method validation, stability studies, and any project-based analytical work.
• Train and mentor junior team members as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.

Qualifications:

• B. Pharm / M. Pharm. Or B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in a quality control role, preferably in herbal, Pharmaceutical industry.
• Sound knowledge of analytical techniques and instruments (HPLC, GC, etc.).
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines such as ICH, FDA, and ISO standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
