Job summary

Mechwell Autotech in India is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform first-article inspections and routine QC checks on automotive components. You will use precision instruments and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Automobile Engineering, and strong data analysis skills with MS Excel. You will contribute to continuous improvement and maintain detailed testing records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry (Automobile/Auto components).
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Automobile Engineering.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections using tools such as Vernier caliper, Height gauge, Micrometer, SPC, MSA, Control plan, PPAP.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of testing results and reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
