Job summary

BPR INFRASTRUTURE PVT LTD in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, seeks a QA/QC Engineer for our construction site. The role focuses on ensuring all activities meet project specs, IS codes, and quality standards with hands-on material testing and documentation.

The candidate should have 2+ years of QA/QC experience on infrastructure projects, knowledge of IS/NBC/CPWD, and be proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. English, Hindi, and Gujarati communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in QA/QC on Building / Industrial / Infrastructure projects.
• Thorough knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, CPWD Specs
• Hands-on experience with site lab testing and third-party lab coordination
• Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD reading, and documentation
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan / QAP and ensure adherence to specs.
• Conduct QC testing as per IS codes and coordinate with clients/third parties.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, test registers, NCRs, and test certificates; report daily/weekly/monthly.

Job Summary:We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer for our construction site in Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant IS Codes. Candidate should have hands‑on experience in material testing, documentation, and site inspection.Key Responsibilities:

• QA Activities
  • Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan / QAP
  • Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and IS Codes
  • Conduct internal quality audits and prepare Non-Conformance Reports NCR
  • Coordinate with client, consultant, and third‑party agencies for inspections
  • Maintain all QA documentation: Method Statements, ITP, Checklists, Material Approvals
• QC / Testing Activities as per IS Codes
  • Concrete: Slump test, Cube casting & testing as per IS 456:2000, IS 1199, IS 516
  • Steel: Tensile test, Bend test, Cutting & Binding inspection as per IS 1786, IS 13920
  • Bricks & Blocks: Water absorption, Compressive strength as per IS 3495, IS 1077
  • Cement: Fineness, Setting time, Soundness, Compressive strength as per IS 4031, IS 269/IS 8112
  • Soil & Foundation: Moisture content, Density, SPT, Plate Load Test as per IS 2720, IS 2911
  • Aggregates: Sieve analysis, Specific gravity, Crushing value as per IS 2386
  • Water: pH, TDS, Chloride test as per IS 456:2000, IS 3025
  • Tiles, Paint, Waterproofing: Adhesion test, Flood test as per project specs & relevant IS codes
  • Ensure proper calibration of all testing equipment and maintain test registers
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Daily QC reports, Weekly QA reports, and Monthly quality reports
  • Maintain material traceability, test certificates, and approval sheets
  • Closure of client observations and consultant comments
  • Support for ISO 9001:2015 documentation if applicable

Required Skills & Knowledge:
