Job summary

Henkel India is seeking a Quality Control professional to conduct standard QC tests on raw materials, in-process and finished products, and to record data in SAP ensuring SHEQ compliance. The role supports investigations, lab testing, process improvements, regulatory implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain product quality and operational excellence. MSc Chemistry and input quality experience required; rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Chemistry with hands-on QA/QC exposure.
• Experience in input quality control processes.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Record results in SAP and prepare test reports.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance and safety procedures.
• File retain samples and maintain clean lab environment.
• Support investigations and train internal customers in SHEQ.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization in quality.
• Lead or complete assigned departmental projects.
• Develop tests and report on formulations with lab data.
• Coordinate with internal functions for regulation changes.

About this Position

Responsible for conducting quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, recording results in SAP, and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards. The role supports quality investigations, laboratory testing, process improvements, regulatory implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain product quality and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi‑finished goods, and finished goods.
• Calculate and report test results, recording test data into the SAP database.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) rules, procedures, and regulations.
• File and maintain retain samples, dispose of old retain samples, and maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist Quality Engineers with complaint investigations and provide appropriate training to internal customers in the SHEQ area.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization within the quality department.
• Complete and manage any assigned projects determined by the departmental Manager, Supervisor, and Leads.
• Develop tests and report on formulations, executing lab testing and generating test data and documentation.
• Communicate with various internal functions and execute the implementation of regulation change.
