Job summary

SOTI Inc is looking for a QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to design and execute test cases, implement BDD with C#, and actively participate in all scrum ceremonies. You will test across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of features.

Collaboration with product, design and development teams is essential. The role emphasizes continual learning, proactive problem solving, and contributing to process improvements in a fast‑paced, global product

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of QA proficiency in a web or mobile development environment.
• Exposure to API testing and troubleshooting/debugging.
• Good understanding of CS fundamentals, networking and databases.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases/features by following standard test design practices.
• Create BDD implementation using C#.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospective, demos).
• Test applications across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Complete all product and QA process training on time.
• Propose logical solutions to business problems.
• Upgrade technical and product knowledge continuously.
• Work with product managers, designers, developers, and QA teams for seamless test execution.
• Provide constructive feedback to help the scrum team improve quality.
• Engage in multiple test cycles to ensure quality delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Create and execute test cases/features by following the standard test design practices
• Create BDD implementation using C#
• Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, retrospective, and demos
• Ensure high-quality standards on all deliverables by testing applications and performing device-side testing on various platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows, MAC and Linux
• Complete all product and QA process training on time
• Propose logical solutions to business problems
• Continually upgrade technical and product know-how
• Adept at working with minimal guidance
• Actively participate in various test cycles
• Work closely with product managers, designers, development team and QA teams for the seamless test execution and delivery of the product
• Help the scrum team to improve the quality by proactively providing constructive feedback

Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any STEM-related programs
• 2-4 years of QA proficiency in a web-based or mobile development environment
• Exposure to any programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Good logical thinking skills to come up with apt test scenarios
• Exposure to API Testing and troubleshooting/debugging
• Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, basic Networking and Database concepts
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A tech-savvy person with the ability to learn and implement new technologies #LI-AS2
