Job summary

PairSoft is seeking an experienced QA Lead to join our agile environment, driving automation improvements and best-practice test plans. You will partner with Product, Development, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases, manage day-to-day testing operations, and mentor teams across PAN India, with options for remote work.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in QA, strong API automation with Selenium, and solid SQL Server skills, along with proven leadership and communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in QA/testing
• Strong experience in API test automation and Selenium
• Database skills with SQL Server
• Experience in development and/or testing role and programming background

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, test documentation, reporting and design and implementation of validation procedures.
• Collaborate with Automation and Infrastructure teams to leverage automation for reliability and scalability.
• Implement process changes to scale testing across multiple products.
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests.
• Work with engineers to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
• Demonstrate knowledge of QA processes and continuous improvement techniques.
• Provide leadership with a vision for improving testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by preventing defects.

Working in an agile development environment the incumbent works with cross functional teams of Development, Product Analyst and DevOps to ensure relevant testing is executed for each release. The incumbent is responsible for increasing testing efficiency and coverage through automation improvement, new processes introduction and creation of the best test plans. In addition, the incumbent will be managing day to day operations and deliver high quality products to customers

Location: PAN India ( remote)

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Lead test planning, test documentation, reporting and design and implementation of validation procedures.
• Partner with Automation and Infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.
• Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover recurrences
• Work with engineers and leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
• Knowledge of QA process with exposure to industry based process improvement techniques
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a vision of what and how to make things happen
• Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in API test automation
• Database skills, mainly in SQL Server
• Experience of automation testing tool – Selenium
• Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role and programming background
• Good experience with different Operating Systems

Work And Physical Requirements

This position may work from home and/or office environment. Working in an office environment may require prolonged sitting, work in an air-conditioned environment, ability to work with others at various noise levels and ability to lift up to 30 pounds or 15 kg.
