JOBSTODAY.WORLD is seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester based in India to work remotely. The role requires 7–9+ years in software QA, strong hands-on automation, framework development, API testing, and integration with CI/CD environments.

The candidate will design, build, execute, and maintain automated tests and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality releases. The position supports CET working hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CET) with Monday–Saturday attendance.

Qualifications

• 7–9+ years of professional experience in Software QA / Testing.
• Hands-on QA automation testing and framework development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA processes.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites for web apps.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• API testing expertise with Postman, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.

JOBSTODAY.WORLD is looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester based in India to join our team remotely.

The ideal candidate will have 7–9+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with strong hands‑on expertise in automation testing, test framework development, API testing, regression testing, and integration with CI/CD environments.

This is a hands‑on position requiring someone who can independently design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites while working closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and high‑quality software releases.

Candidates must be able to work consistently in sync with CET working hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CET), Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain robust automated test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end‑to‑end testing across web applications and related systems.
• Identify suitable test cases for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.
• Develop reusable and maintainable automation components and test utilities.
• Perform API testing and validation using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and identify root causes of software defects.
• Log, track, document, and communicate defects clearly with development and product teams.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and release validation.
• Maintain test documentation, test data, and execution reports.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, automation standards, and overall product quality.
• Support timely releases by ensuring critical functionality is adequately tested before deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum 7–9 years of professional experience in Software QA / Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience in QA Automation Testing and automation framework development.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test suites for web applications.
• Hands‑on experience with commonly used automation technologies or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with API testing, including tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience using defect and project tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to independently investigate automation failures and software defects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Must be based in India.
• Must be able to work Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CET.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or improving automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with test reporting and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with database and SQL validation.
• Exposure to performance or load testing is an advantage.
• Experience working with distributed or international engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of automation best practices, including maintainability, scalability, test reliability, and reducing flaky tests.
