PREWAL is hiring a hands‑on Quality Assurance Executive to strengthen quality across cutting, embroidery, stitching, finishing, and packing on the Gurgaon production floor. The role is full‑time and on‑site, reporting to the Technical Head.

You will implement quality standards on the production floor, identify problems early, and ensure corrective actions are completed, not just report defects. Expect active floor work and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Garment Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant garment QA/QC experience with strong production-floor exposure.
• Sound knowledge of garment construction, measurements, workmanship, and inspection methods.
• Experience with embroidery, embellishment, or detailed garments is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct first‑piece, inline, end‑line, and finishing checks against approved samples, measurements, and style requirements.
• Help prepare and implement style‑specific checklists and visual quality references under the Technical Head’s guidance.
• Check embroidery placement, workmanship, beading, garment construction, measurements, and finishing.
• Communicate defects and required corrections clearly to the relevant department in‑charge.
• Track corrective actions, recheck corrected work, and maintain evidence of closure.
• Support checker training and assess whether checking standards are being followed consistently.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, defect records, and daily quality updates using Excel.
• Identify recurring defects and support practical preventive action to reduce avoidable repairs and rework.
• Escalate serious quality risks promptly through the agreed hold and release process.

PREWAL is looking for a hands‑on QA professional to work closely with our Technical Head and strengthen quality across cutting, embroidery, stitching, finishing, and packing.

Location: Gurgaon

Employment: Full‑time, on‑site

Reporting to: Technical Head

The Role

You will help implement quality standards on the production floor, identify problems early, and verify that corrective actions are completed. This is an active floor‑based role, not a desk‑only reporting position or solely a final‑checking role.

• Sound knowledge of garment construction, measurements, workmanship, and inspection methods.
• Experience with embroidery, embellishment, or detailed garments is preferred.
• Able to read specifications, measurement charts, and buyer comments, and prepare clear written reports.
• Comfortable using Excel and communicating professionally with production teams.
• Able to follow problems through to verified correction, rather than only reporting defects.
