Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in Software Testing with Capital Markets exposure.
• Hands-on experience in SQL and Database Testing.
• Experience with FIX Protocol and FIX message validation.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets business processes and trading workflows.
• Expertise in API Testing using Postman/Swagger.
• Experience with Kafka/MQ Message Validation.
• Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Backend/System Testing of Capital Markets applications, focusing on business logic validation and core system functionality.
• Validate end-to-end trading workflows across frontend and backend systems.
• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute Integration, System, and Regression Testing across multiple applications and interfaces.
• Validate FIX Protocol messages including order lifecycle and trade transactions.
• Perform SQL and Database Testing to ensure data accuracy.
• Validate Kafka/MQ messages and system communication.
• Log, track, and verify defects through closure using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams for test coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to quality improvements throughout SDLC.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and Swagger.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot application issues.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on QA Engineer with strong expertise in Capital Markets application testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Backend/System Testing, deep knowledge of trading workflows, FIX Protocol validation, and a solid understanding of Capital Markets business processes.

This role requires a proactive professional who can independently drive testing activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality applications in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Backend/System Testing of Capital Markets applications, focusing on business logic validation and core system functionality.
• Validate end-to-end trading workflows across frontend and backend systems.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
